Accepting the Republican vice presidential nomination Cheney has stated that he's looking at serving alongside an president who can work to achieve his goals by working across partisan lines and working with political opponents with good will and a common goals. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on the 30th of January, 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. When he was 13 years old, he emigrated along with his parents into Casper located in western part of Wyoming which is where his father was in charge of the local soil conservation district in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
