Police are investigating after the corpse of a mansuspected to be a the local rapper WizDaWizard discovered at the front of a house early on Friday morning at Hallandale Beach. The body was found by police officers in the residence near Northwest 6th Terrace & 10th Street at around 8 a.m. Numerous social media accounts claim that the suspect was rapper WizDaWizard. Hallandale Beach Police has not identified the person who died nor disclosed the exact cause of death. The police have stated that the "unusual circumstances of this incident" justify their continued silence. Hallandale Beach Police Department Captain Megan Jones stated that the victim is well known to South Florida residents, but we are not releasing his name as of now for the sake of integrity in the investigation and also to properly notify the family. NBC 6 was told by residents that there was no one living near the location at which the body was found for months. The police are now investigating the incident after rapper SpotemGottem was shot in the back while he drove on I-95.
